Record-breaking attendance at Seafood Expo Asia 2024

Record-breaking attendance at Seafood Expo Asia 2024 – The Seafood Expo Asia 2024, organised by Diversified Communications, is set to become the most relevant event in the global seafood industry. From 4-6 September, the Sands Expo Convention Centre in Singapore will host an unprecedented international representation, with exhibitors from 46 countries set to showcase the latest innovations and trends in the industry.

This year’s edition will see the participation of new nations, including Azerbaijan, Brazil, Denmark, Morocco, New Caledonia, Qatar, Scotland, Sri Lanka and Venezuela, which will contribute to making this event even richer in content and opportunities. In addition, there will be new regional and national pavilions from Japan, Morocco and Saudi Arabia, marking a further step in the diversification and internationalisation of Expo.

The strategic importance of this event is highlighted by the participation of leading companies in the seafood and processing sector, such as AquaChile, Blumar Seafoods and Hofseth International AS, to name but a few. These companies will highlight their best practices in sustainability and innovation to meet the ever-increasing demands of the global market.

One of the distinguishing aspects of Seafood Expo Asia 2024 will be the business matchmaking programme, a unique opportunity for high-volume buyers to make direct contact with leading suppliers of fish and aquaculture technologies. Participants in this programme include prominent names such as Big C Supercenter Co., Ltd and CJ Freshway, a sign of the growing interest in efficient and sustainable solutions in the industry.

Cutting-edge technologies will play a central role, with companies such as Alpha Aqua A/S, which will present its Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS), and FrostiX Co., Ltd., which will introduce its HybridICE freezing technology, designed to improve food quality and safety at the cellular level.

In addition to the exhibitions, Seafood Expo Asia 2024 will offer a series of special events, including the Young Chef Challenge and the Oyster Challenge, which will test participants’ culinary skills in creative and competitive challenges. There will be no shortage of awards, with the Seafood Excellence Asia Awards recognising the best new seafood products of the year.

This event thus confirms itself as a must-attend for seafood professionals, distributors, restaurateurs and decision makers, who will be able to explore new trends, make strategic contacts and discover innovations that will define the future of the market.
