Boosting the algae industry in France

Boosting the algae industry in France – Vinpai, a leader in algae processing and marketing, has partnered with Adetis, a distributor of organic ingredients. The aim is to promote seaweed-based food ingredients in France by offering innovative solutions.

With this agreement, Vinpai gains access to Adetis’ extensive network of more than 800 customers in the food, animal nutrition and dietary supplement sectors. This represents a significant move not only for Vinpai’s expansion throughout France, but also for the potential growth of the algae industry.

Vinapi, which obtained FSCC 22000 and ISO 9001 certifications in 2022, is committed to maintaining high quality and traceability standards.

In return for distribution, Adetis gains exclusive access to Vinpai’s innovative seaweed and plant fibre ingredients throughout France.

The partnership will be celebrated with an exhibition at the Crossroads of Food Industry Suppliers in March 2024, in Rennes. Vinpai and Adetis will share a stand, promoting the use of algae in the food and nutrition industry.

Philippe Leray, CEO of Vinpai, said: ‘This partnership is a sign of trust from Adetis, a partner with whom we have already been working for several years and with whom we share the same values of listening to customers’ needs. Leray emphasised that thanks to Adetis, they can now reach a wider customer base and expand their national coverage.
