Aladdin El Deeb captures the essence of coastal communities through the photography

Aladdin El Deeb captures the essence of coastal communities through the photography – Port Said Governorate is one of the governorates of the Canal Zone in Egypt. It is located in the northeastern part of the country, on the Mediterranean Sea at the northern gate of the Suez Canal, making it the second most important port in Egypt. One of its main traditional activities in the local community is fishing.
Port Said City is where the creative photographer Aladdin El Deeb was born and where he started his professional life.

Although he faced many difficulties and challenges through his carrier, he excelled in combining fishing, fishers life, his passion for photography and for Port Said city at the same time.

Therefore, here is a short overview of his life:

He started self-learning and developing his skills to reach a professional level and take part in competitions all over the Arab Republic of Egypt and the world. His greatest passion was to portray fishers during their hard and outstanding work and shine light on them in a distinctive manner.

Our communities in Africa and the Mediterranean have so many daily stories to tell, as we do every day in the Blue Life Hub, and we can consider Aladdin El Deeb our ambassador, as he has dedicated his life to communicating to the world the value of the simple life and the beauty of the environment around us. So that’s how watching the sea, in front of our eyes appears the horizon and not borders.
