JABEIC2022 – Agribusiness & Blue Economy Conference in Kenya 7th – 9th December 2022 –

The Jumuiya Agribusiness and Blue Economy Investment Conference (JABEIC) is an annual conference hosted by the Jumuiya ya Kaunti za Pwani Secretariat (JKP) in collaboration with the six Kenyan Coast Counties. This annual event, now in its fourth year, highlights investment opportunities in the region. JABEIC 2022 will be held in Hola, Tana River County, from December 7th to 9th, 2022. JABEIC 2022 will be under the overarching theme: Innovative investments in Blue Economy Urbanization & Regenerative Transformation.

Conference’s opportunities

The conference provides opportunities to network and interact with investors from around the world including those attending virtually.
JABEIC will focus on investment opportunities in the Jumuiya 2030 regional transformational sectoral pillars for each of the six counties: Agribusiness Food & Nutrition Security, Trade and Industries, Blue Economy, Natural Resources & Environment, Education-Health & Innovation.
Participants will have first-hand experience of Kenya’s first Blue Counties’ investment opportunities as well as the chance to enjoy the rich tourism, culture and heritage assets domiciled in the region.
The organization include also a special showcasing of #GoBlueProject which will be presented by the implementing partners – Italian Agency for Development Corporation (#AICS), Portugal’s CAMEOS, Expertise France, GIZ, UN Habitat /UNEP.
On 9th December from 8.30 to 10.30 (Central Europe Time) a panel session dedicated to the Italian companies and the organization will be organized by #CIHEAMBari, focused on the investment opportunities and possibility of partnership between the Italian and Kenyan entrepreneurship system.
